This mini-sized DC Motor is great for DIY Hobbies, Science Projects, and for Toy Cars and Robots. These are standard '130 size' DC hobby motors. They come with a wider operating range than most toy motors: from 3 to 9VDC. This range makes them perfect for controlling with an Adafruit Motor Shield, or with an Arduino where you are more likely to have 5 to 9V available than a high current 3V setting. These motors can be operated using two AA batteries or with a 5V USB power supply.
Working Principle of DC Motor:-
DC motor operates according to the principle that the magnetic flux formed on the rotor and stator inside it attracts or repels each other. For this to occur, Direct Current (DC) must be applied to the motor.
A normal DC motor would have only two terminals. Since these terminals are connected together only through a coil they have no polarity. Revering the connection will only reverse the direction of the motor.
